Just to be clear, Comet Halley is NOT reappearing 47 years early! There are a number of newspaper headlines trumpeting a huge event – it’s only in the small print that you discover that they are talking about the Orionid meteor shower this month! Some numbnuts has syndicated the story, and idiot (or just plain ignorant) editors have fallen for it hook, line and sinker!
